What is the COA Wellness Program?
The COA Wellness Program is a joint COA and LAPD wellness initiative which began in 2014. The program is administered by Behavioral Science Services, the Department’s long-standing health and wellness division, which also provides many of the program’s health and education services.
The Wellness Program is open to all COA members (including active honorary). Each calendar year, members have the opportunity participate in health screenings, enhance their health behaviors, and obtain both general and personalized health education, with the goal of ensuring life-long health and wellness. Additionally, participants can earn monetary incentives based on level of participation.
